Having built a strong reputation for releasing quality albums and as a festival band both in the UK and Europe, Roadhouse come back rebuilt and renewed with their first release in six troubled years. They continue their reputation for producing quality, dark, Americana/blues/rock but now coupled with a higher energy and even stronger songs. The old themes of desperation and disaster leading to redemption are still there, but there is also a commentary on a decaying society and a population largely turning from the joys of live and original music. During the period Gary Boner wrote these songs, there was the pandemic with it's lockdowns, the death of Roadhouse's drummer Roger Hunt, and the departure of great guitar player Danny Gwillym with his own serious medical issues. In this period Gary's Wife also fought cancer and Gary had his 5th major surgery of recent years. These are typical challenges for everyone these days but as Gary puts it... food for some strong songs. The new lineup features notable session guitarist Chris Walker, long term band dep Frank Dymore takes over from Roger Hunt on the drums. Great female vocalist Kelly Marie who sang on Roadhouse releases Sea of Souls and Dark Angel has rejoined the band and marries her voice with that of original Roadhouse songstress Mandie G. Bill Hobley is a constant on the bass as is Gary on guitar and vocals. This album is a celebration of the new line up and of overcoming adversity in it's many forms. The album also provides a guest slot for legendary guitar slinger Robin Bibi who provides slide on Believe and Roadhouse's last guitar player Danny Gwilym plays lead on two tracks and provides two song writing credits working alongside Gary.
