Last year, Jigsaw compiled Scooterbabe's two cassette EPs onto one disc, entitled "The Scooterbabe Companion"; this year, we're proud to present their first proper full length, "The Sorrow You've Been Toting Around". The band has undergone a couple line-up changes in the time leading up to this album, and their sound has matured quite a bit in that time, as well. The band they most closely resemble is the Ropers, a vintage Slumberland band that excelled in refined pop, rife with jangling guitars and solid melodies - qualities all found within these eleven songs. Add in guest vocals/violin from Jianna Justice, and you have a well-rounded and thoughtful batch of songs that together, comprise a stellar and very rewarding album.
