A prolific songwriter that has written songs for Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, DeDee Wilde, Lenny Williams and others, Eugene Wilde is also a successful recording artist in his own right, and one of the founding fathers of the Philly Soul sound. Part of an eight-strong musical family, Wilde's family group Tight Connection rose to fame at the height of the Disco era and changed their name to Simplicious. They soon struck a deal with the Philadelphia based Philly World label and released the single "Let Her Feel It" which became a popular club track in 1983, a year before Wilde's solo debut, "Gotta Get You Home Tonight" became a massive hit. Featured here is the original 12" mix of "Let Her Feel It" and a bonus instrumental version. Newly re-mastered.
