Artist Profile He started his career as a solo unit by DJ/Producer Masato Komatsu, and released his first album in 2006. In 2006, he released his first album, 'Caveman Boogie', which became a hot topic in the international club scene, especially in Europe. In 2018, he teamed up with label mate Ryo Kawahara to release 'The Right Way,' which sold out immediately and was played by top DJs in Japan and abroad, including Gilles Peterson and DJ MURO, and was the only Japanese song selected for The 60 Best Songs of 2018 by a French reggae information website. He has released six analog singles in a row from 2018 to 2020, all of which sold out immediately, and his remix of Struggle For Pride / Make a Rainbow (Slowly Remix) was selected as one of the best songs of 2020 by the BBC (UK). With his roots in reggae at the core of his music, his eclectic sound-making, which mixes a variety of genres, has always had a global focus and is highly acclaimed for it's quality.
