Experience the 1967 British summer of love with The Syn's reissued single "Flowerman," a classic slice of psychedelic history. Led by Steve Nardelli, the band featured guitarist Peter Banks and bassist Chris Squire who went on to form the progressive rock group Yes. Originally meant to be part of a 15-minute pop opera, "Flowerman" is twee hippy-dippy Summer of Love pop at it's finest. On the flip is the excellent psych-tinged B-side "14 Hour Technicolor Dream," a nod to the legendary London hippie gathering event, complete with Peter Banks' compressed Rickenbacker sounding like an electric razor. Limited pressing that's newly remastered by Prof. Stoned and boasts new sleeve by Piper Gates Design.
