Genre: Indie Rock/Pop

2013 release, the fifth album from this Indie band led by Casey Crescendo, formerly of Post-Hardcore outfit the Receiving End of Sirens. The Dear Hunter recorded Migrant earlier this year at Vu Du Studios in Long Island, NY with producer Mike Watts, after almost two years supporting their critically acclaimed 36-track collection: The Color Spectrum. Prior to the Color Spectrum, The Dear Hunter also embarked on another concept project - a six album series chronicling the story of a boy at the turn of the century only referred to as The Dear Hunter (Acts I - III currently released). While Migrant takes a departure from the band's previous use of an overarching concept, it remains true to their signature grandiose sound, fueled by Crescendo's soulful vocals.
