Limited colored vinyl LP pressing housed in a gatefold sleeve. Austin, TX's Greyhounds have been aptly described as "ZZ Top meets Hall & Oats" for their blend of gritty guitar riffs, smooth rhythms and soulful R&B. Their third studio album Cheyenne Valley Drive is certainly no exception as co-writers and singers Anthony Farrell and Andrew Trube mix these elements and more deftly throughout the record's 10 compelling tracks. The sessions were recorded and mixed at legendary Sam Phillips Recording in Memphis, TN by Grammy award winning engineer Matt Ross-Spang (Margot Price, Jason Isbell) while special guest appearances are made by Dante Schwebel, Will Sexton, Amy LaVere, and Art Edmaiston. Cheyenne Valley Drive is a product of a band at the height of their game, making music in a studio that has been virtually untouched by time, recording in the style that many of their musical heroes used. Basically a dream come true.
