Known at the time as Joanne & The Heartaches, this Jersey City group started off life at The Vydells before adding lead vocalist Joanne Lucas and first tenor Robert Taglierini, who replaced original member Russ Capo, to founders Joe Calamito, Tom D'Alessandro and Charles Romano. In 1966, they released a 45 on Catamount Records which contained original tune I'm So Young on the A-side with A Lover's Call on the flip. Lucas and Taglierini would eventually depart and Geri O'Neil became the lead singer with a second female voice, Joanne Bevacgu, added to the lineup. After decades of being available on vinyl only, the newly remastered single can finally be had in the digital domain. .
