Violinist Thibault Noally leads his ensemble Les Accents in a program of music inspired by Johann Sebastian Bach. The repertoire selected includes concertos by both famous and less well-known contemporaries of the Leipzig Cantor, including music by Telemann, Fasch and Heinichen. The master himself is represented by two of his Violin Concertos. Brimming with both verve and virtuosity, this recording offers listeners a reminder of the inexhaustible riches of the Baroque repertoire. Also featured is the world premiere of a concerto by Christoph Förster.
