Originally released in 1979, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers' classic album, DAMN THE TORPEDOES, has been remastered for this re-release. Produced by Petty and Jimmy Iovine, the album catapulted the band to arena performances, where they played such classic cuts as the infectious Top 10 "Don't Do Me Like That," blistering rockers "Refugee" and "Here Comes My Girl," and tender "Even the Losers". Bursting with full speed ahead American rock'n'roll, the album brought together country, folk, rock and blues in what became identified as Petty's signature style. In 2003, nearly 25 years after it's release, Rolling Stone honored DAMN THE TORPEDOES on it's list of greatest albums ever made.
