The modern German composer Elmar Lampson premiers three chamber compositions: Facetten (1986/87) for piano trio; to Axion Esti (1990) three piano pieces; and Suite der Substanzen (1993/94) for two pianos, percussion, and low strings. The piano trio features Ulrike Bauer-Wirth (piano); Volker Biesenbender (violin) and Vladimir Toncha (cello). to Axion Esti features Ulrike Bauer-Wirth (piano) and Suite der Substanzen features a soloist ensemble of the Orchester-Akademie Hamburg conducted by the composer. World premier recordings. All selections newly remastered.
