Compiled with the dance floor in mind and focusing exclusively on King's black rock'n'roll recordings, this package features some of the biggest names in R&B and - in many cases - some of their rarest recordings. In-demand floor fillers like Donnie Elbert's 'Leona' and 'Believe It Or Not' are comfortably complemented by long-time rock'n'roll favorites such as Hank Ballard's version of 'Sugaree'. Although the emphasis is on the upbeat, there are also a couple of strollers on board to help dancers get their breath back. All tracks were freshly transferred from the original King production tapes by Ace's Tony Rounce and Alec Palao, in September 2005.
