(3-CD set) French miners were called "gueules noires" (black mouths) because the coal would cover their faces in black. This set is the unique testimony of the miners and their wives, so that the memory of a profession, a culture and a community doesn't get erased with time. These testimonies (spoken in French) allow US to consider and to be part of the human adventure in a 20th century's industrial France.
