Xhin, Tommy Four Seven, Kangding Ray, and Dscrd split the third EP in Stroboscopic Artefacts' fifth anniversary series. Xhin's "Blade Moth," previously released digitally by Meerestief Records, appears here in remastered form, with it's scattershot percussion reverberating around finely tuned kicks and sci-fi oscillations. On "FFFFF," Tommy Four Seven's incessant bass groove powerfully channels pounding kicks and high-end distortion. Kangding Ray provides the most dramatic offering in "Luna," with warehouse-style synths sliding from behind drums and throbbing pulses of sub bass. Parisian act Dscrd ends the EP with the slow, grinding techno of "Apparition Hill," opting for tension over release.
