A master of metaphor, Williamson builds a ship by hand and by heart and fills her Hold with music - music to hold all our hearts as we set out upon these troubled waters in these strange - yet beautiful - times. She invited musicians, including co-producer Julie Wolf and engineer David Luke to come together to create this mix of folk, Americana, pop, and dystopian ballads reminiscent of Yates and Neil Young - the object being to cast spells not stones as we set sail for the times.
