2013 reissue. Mirumir presents a reissue of beloved Moscow post-punk band Zvuki Mu's 2005 final album, Skazki Bratiev Grimm. Lead singer and songwriter Pyotr Mamonov is one of the most revered and eccentric figures of the Russian art scene, whose absurdist lyrics are as playful and disturbing as his vocal style and explosive on-stage presence. The band's sound combined starkly simple yet textured melodies with synthesizer sounds; their debut self-titled album was the first Russian work to be produced by Brian Eno (MIR 100432 LP).
